Whole38- Day 8
Mind- Word of Day "CHANGE"
Body- Change it up today! Add something new to your exercise routine. Try a new veggie, substitute a meal for a healthy juice or smoothie today at lunch and of course don't forget to get your steps/miles in towards our 38 mile goal!!
Things Change and I'm OK with that ......... say it again and again until you are truly OK with it! I have to sometimes laugh at myself and others because we will attempt to convince ourselves daily that we are ok with change when in all honesty there are times when we are NOT ok with it and that's OK! From moms fighting to loose post baby weight to professionals adjusting to company buyouts, new leaderships, marriages, housing, moves etc CHANGE happens and it sometimes CHANGES you. It's inevitable and it often times comes in a ready or not fashion. In order to combat this during our journey to wholeness I am challenging you to simply do yourself a solid and find your place within any change you may encounter and then be OK with it. If the change begins to alter your mood , stance, judgement or overall quality of life then you make a CHANGE and push forward.
You have the ability to create the life you want to live so when sudden changes get in the way ... always remember the power is in your hand.
My prayer for us all today is very simple yet familiar: God, grant us the serenity to accept the things we cannot change, courage to change the things we can and wisdom to know the difference!
