Meet Rochonda

Rochonda R. Woodard affectionately known as R. Rene was born and raised in Flint, Michigan about 50 miles north of Detroit. A 16+ year healthcare and business operations veteran currently serving as Consultant and Executive Advisor with a private firm based in Washington, DC. By day R. Rene' provides process improvement strategy to organizations globally undergoing business transformation. In this role, she is responsible for Program and Policy Implementation, coaching the C-Suite and various levels of leadership while increasing efficiency, team morale, client/customer engagement, and overall system operations.

Rochonda has also served in various capacities within the non-profit sector primarily in spaces for youth development, career counseling/placement, mentorship and foundation fundraising. Her documented Communication plans, Fundraising and Marketing achievements have been recognized nationally and she remains an active resource for many community and faith-based organizations in Michigan, Tennessee and the DC Metropolitan Area.

Rochonda is an innovative visionary who created Life Brand Factory to help individuals evolve, expand and develop impactful personal and professional life brand strategies in and outside of the workplace and throughout the entrepreneurial/business journey. By offering solutions like personal life (brand) planning/assessment, coaching and curating quarterly and annual empowerment programming like Girl Talk DC enables her to ensure clients focus on the heart and habits behind the business in order to secure optimal success and essentially financial growth. These events are designed to engage community in thought-provoking conversations around Finance, Relationships and Mental Health.  Rochonda was recently appointed to Washington, DC City Director for Walker’s Legacy, an organization dedicated to upholding the legacy of Madam CJ Walker by creating programming and providing resources that empower, equip and inspire multicultural women in business, leadership and entrepreneurship globally. Rochonda is a dual degreed executive holding a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration and Biology from Eastern Michigan University and Graduate Studies in Nursing Operations and Business Management.  Ms. Woodard holds several professional certifications in leadership, process Improvement, project management and recently completed certifications in both Diversity Inclusion and Women's Entrepreneurship at Cornell University.
