Greetings Family!
Y'all it's cold outside and I am over it. St. Lucia , Miami, Bahamas , It is all calling me nonstop , but I am resisting the urge to remain focused. SOON MY LORD , SOON! lol
I am stepping into a NEW era of writing , sharing and living ..... so stay close as things unfold, I need you with me.
Winter just has a way of slowing everything down.........
The days are shorter, the air feels heavier, and motivation can feel harder to reach. If you’ve been feeling a little quieter, more reflective, or even low-spirited, know this first: nothing is “wrong” with you!!!
Winter naturally invites us inward. It’s a season that asks us to pause, rest, and listen—especially when the world around us feels both muted and ON FIRE!!
At the same time, winter offers a rare and powerful gift of uninterrupted time. Fewer distractions. Fewer expectations to be “ON” This is the place where the things you’ve been putting off—the ideas, the craft, the habits, the healing—can finally receive your attention. Not with pressure, but with intention.
This is the season for preparation.
Sunshine and Joy soon come.... They always do! 52 days til Spring to be exact ( Get in the Gym) lol...
But seriously , JOY is often amplified by what we choose to build quietly. Seeds planted in colder seasons don’t bloom immediately, but they are still doing important work behind the scenes. Your consistency now with reading, writing, planning, organizing, restoring matters more than you may realize.
This new year doesn’t need to be loud or public to be powerful.
Let it remain personal.
Let it be about alignment instead of applause.
Progress instead of performance and I'll keep stressing it Purpose over Perfection!
You owe yourself honesty about what you want and the effort to move gently toward it.
So if winter feels heavy, let it also be holy ground.
Light a candle.
Put on music that comforts and excites you.
Take one small step toward the thing you’ve been avoiding ( you know what it is) not because you’re behind, but because you finally have the space and time to do so!
The work you do now is an act of faith for the future version of you!
Let the snow days be your fuel, I promise you’ll be glad you honored this season of rest instead of rushing through it.
Have a great weekend!
In Solidarity, Sisterhood and the Sunshine to come ,
R. Rene'
